If you’re like most you probably want to look good. In today’s society looking good for men is different than for women. The ideal man is muscular while the ideal woman is skinny. Every day the social media, TV, magazines, and movies, parade these ideals before us as the sign of true beauty. In truth, an ideal body is a strong healthy body and that ideal is different for each one of us. So whether you are a man or a woman, this is what you should be striving for.

The fact is being too thin and having little muscle strength can lead to health problems. Your risk of anemia and bone loss may increase, as well as a chance of developing irregularities of your heart.

HealthAtoZ.com has set up the best shop when it comes to providing free health information. Maintaining good health is a very important component in a diet plan or a fitness regime. If you get sick, then that just adds a day, or maybe even weeks towards your goal.

You probably have noticed that I have been quiet here the last few days. It’s because I have yet caught another nasty bug. This time its the flu (the last time was a head cold) and thank goodness for my doctor and Tylenol flu, I have managed to get partial body systems up and running. As part of my lose weight for 2007 program, I had reverted back to my low carb diet and that I believe is the reason why I managed to pick up two viruses in a row. I feel that my immune system needs a pick-me-upper, so I headed over to HealthAtoZ.com to check out their new feature Chat With A Nurse.

All of us experience occasional emotional eating. Celebrating with food is what birthday parties, holiday parties and cookouts are all about. Sometimes, however, emotional eating becomes something else, something that can lead to serious physical and emotional imbalance in our lives.

Using food to cope with stress, grief, loneliness and boredom causes a destructive cycle that becomes an unconscious behavior. This behavior is very difficult to change and if left unchecked can lead to obesity and other forms of weight-related illnesses.
