Pocket Reference Journals, a pocket specialty medical publishing company, has launched its “Step On It!” Food & Walking Journal. It was originally designed and developed for use in a diet and fitness promotion that took place in the Army’s 72 fitness centers around the globe. The journal was written by a registered dietitian, and podiatrist, and other health care professionals to engage, and educate the military to get a bit more fit. The journal is 48 pages and comes encased in a protective, poly-vinyl sleeve. Step On It! is the perfect complement to any weight loss, fitness, or exercise program. It’s patterned after the 10,000 Steps Initiative, and is meant to be used in conjunction with a pedometer.

People using the journal are encouraged to log in their food, water intake, calories, fats, along with their mood and steps taken on a daily basis. It’s a 30-day program that motivates its users to become more diligent, by tracking info into this handy, attractive, pocket-size, and easy-to-read and understand journal.
