I find doing exercises to tone the butt muscles some of the hardest exercises to do. I don’t no why but man they do work when done right.
I don’t mind doing them. It is getting down on the floor that I don’t care for!
LOL
I like the results I get from doing them but sometimes I really do have to push myself to do them. I hear you about getting down on the floor though.
I used to do a lot of things like this but I tired of it real fast. I think I was maybe doing them incorrectly because they started causing some hip issues.
I really need to find an alternative to replace those particular moves that started hurting me.
I signed up for the SparkPeople’s newsletter. It has great ideas to keep you motivated.
Tater03, there are actually some easy butt exercises out there.
I caught an extreme makeover show where the trainer was saying that squeezing your butt cheeks together while standing upright in three series of ten on a daily basis will do the trick also.
Um,,, like my husband says,,,, it’s perfect for when you are waiting for the walk light to come standing at the crosswalk….
For me, doing exercises at home is a a bit challenging with 3 little ones! The squeezing one for toning sounds easy enough to do anytime though. Thanks for the tip!
Squeezing my butt while just doing my everyday routine is definentely something I can work with. I will be trying this tip out. Thanks
Tater03, I actually became a member of SparkPeople and they have a good support buddy system that helps you in the motivation part.
Katharina, stretching can be a really good start to your workout, especially if you experience aches and pains after your workout.
SageMother, did you get your pledge card from sparkspeople yet?
Tater03, LOL!
Squeeze to the kitchen…. squeeze to the bedroom……
