Hello. I just want 2 know about the 5 steps and easy ones 2 reduce my tummy please do help me.
Dear Sabreen:
I my experience, reducing tummy inches is a very hard and difficult process. There are really no quick fixes and in my experience, you really have to work in getting that part of the body in shape. It will take a combination of a healthy diet and good exercise plan.
Have you downloaded our free e-book on getting killer abs yet? This should help you in getting started on exercises that will tone down your midsection.
I also found that I lost a considerable amount of inches by using two neoprene fitness belts during my workouts - one around my abs and another around my waist. It really did help me shed excess tummy water weight as I exercised.

I bought mine from Avon’s online catalog for about $9.00 and it was probably the best fitness accessory that I have every bought. You can pick one up for as low as $5.00 for a neoprene belt through Amazon. You can notice almost immediately the inches coming off. Hope this helps.
If anyone else would like to drop me a question, post it at our member section.

Thanks for dropping by!
I’ve never heard of a neoprene belt before. I wonder if I could find one in my size (I’m very large). I also know I need to pay much closer attention to my diet.
I’m not familiar with a neoprene belt either… but I really should check into it because those prices are amazingly affordable. I sure didn’t see it in the Avon catalog, but it’s worth a look.
I have seen neoprene belts.
They encourage the loss of fluid from an area while compressing the tissues.
My neighbor the other day was just talking about these. She wants to get one. I am going to have to see if it works for her.
This truly sounds like a fascinating product to me. Does anyone have a few different places that they can be bought?
I have a belt that looks like the one in the picture but it’s for sore backs. Too bad it doesn’t have a double purpose.
I haven’t seen these in stores recently. I bet you can find them in exercise or sporting goods stores though.
Ah yes… I could check in the health food/vitamin store over the weekend, too. Looks like it may double as support for those with weak backs perhaps, too.
My sister tried the neoprene belt before and it actually did help her to drop a few pounds…unfortunately it was water weight and she put it back on after drinking.
Oh yes, the other thing I wanted to mention that works really well, but sucks…sit-ups, sit-ups and more sit-ups.
Ah, water weight, yes… so maybe these things are to be used as a jump-start to get people motivated more than something to use for long periods of time?
I seriously cannot deal with sit-ups. I think I burned out on them during practice for those darn presidential fitness awards in high school.
I have heard of these, but have not tried one myself. I do have to say that I am interested. I am going to check out amazon.
Crunching has worked better for me.
Sit ups seemed to activate the muscles between the tops of the thighs and the lowest part of the pelvis more than they helped the belly region itself.
Crunches that limited the action to raising the head and maybe the shoulders a bit, seemed to work the bell more directly.
The trick is to avoid using your arms, usually placed behind the head, to move some of the work load. It all has to be concentrated in the belly area.
Calypso, I am the biggest fan of neoprene “anything”!
It is so cheap. One belt is about $5.00 at Walmart and you can probably get it dirt cheap on ebay.
But wow, does this baby ever work. My husband is now a firm believer of the neoprene god. How it works is that you use it when you work out. Your tummy is usually where you don’t sweat as much and neoprene in its magical ways make you lose your water retention in that area.
It does not work on your fat, but it works on losing the water in a specific area. So when you are working out, your burning more fat instead of water.
Katharina, until I picked up an Avon catalog earlier this year, I’ve never heard of neoprene before either.
Maybe because “they” always try to encourage us to buy things that cost too much and does too little for our diet.
Much to my mystery also, after I bought that initial purchase from Avon I didn’t see it again. The ones I bought were the Curve brand from Avon. I buy my new ones from Walmart now. Pretty cheap. Does amazing wonders.
That’s quite a testimonial there, Diva! Do you find that the water ends up saying off, though… like is this just temporary or is it a permanent loss?
SageMother, neoprene belts is not a permanent solution… but is a great tool if you really take your workouts seriously.
When you exercise without the extra water weight, your workouts make more impact towards your goal.
Walmart has them for really, really cheap. Less than $5….
debrajean, it is just water weight you lose. That is why, you have to combine it with a rigorous exercise schedule.
When you are losing water during your workout, you will end up burning more fat during the time you spend exercising. I think that is one of the best features I’ve ever seen in a diet product.
But, the biggest mistake people make, is that they think its going to work on its own and deliver the results.
Debrajean, LOL!
situps…. situps…. situps…. I think if we say it all the same time, we might be motivated to do it ALL the time!
Katharina, you have a point there.
Sometimes we all need that extra motivation to go to the gym. And I know when I was a little bit bigger, I didn’t feel encouraged to go that often. I would rather stay home than go.
Katharina, LOL! Presidential awards?? what’s that?
EviesEarth, did you get yours yet?
SageMother, mmmm, maybe I really need to work on my arms and try to keep them still.
Katharina, for me, it is a permanent weight loss and it’s gotten rid of my water retention problem.
Same thing for my husband. So far he’s lost over 6 inches on his belly alone. But we do workout religious for over an hour at least four times a week.
