Thanks for dropping by!
If you can do the exercises here, then add a brisk walk, you could probably see improvement without paying for a gym membership.
What a great way to save money and improve your appearance at the same time!
I know I have a terrible attitude about exercise, but every word out of that man’s mouth reminded me why I hate it so much, LOL
LOL, Calypso!
There are some people who don’t react well to this sort of…motivation. I can definitely understand your irritation!
Big 5 Fat Burning Exercises…
Big 5 Fat Burning Exercises…
That would be me. I just don’t think that I would be very motivated by this. But that is just my personal opinion.
I think that adding a brisk walk to almost any other kind of exercise would be nothing but beneficial.
And I also think that there’s no reason exercise has to be boring. We can always spice something up that looks uninspiring.
SageMother, I’ve also added walking to my workout regimen. It’s not only good for weight loss, it’s also great for de-stressing.
I usually like going at the end of the day.
Calypso, there are also times when I feel like going to the gym is like getting my teeth pulled.
But then there are times that I just can’t wait to go to the gym.
Can’t figure out this trend yet….
I really should walk more for de-stressing, too. I took a nice walk a few mornings ago… and rather early. It was very calming and I should do it a lot more often.
How long are your walks for your routine, Diva?
SageMother,
Weight loss is going to be an irritation no matter what. However, the video really does give good advice for those out there willing to put up with the irritation.
I’d be so happy if there was a gym closer to me… but there’s not so I have to make do with what I have. At the moment that’s a treadmill, aerobics, and neat places to walk although hills are involved in all directions.
Tater03, so where do you draw your fitness motivation?
Katharina, good point!
I started incorporating walking after dinner and I actually track my calories burned on a daily basis.
Did you know that with 30 minutes of leisure walking, you can burn 112 calories?
Well that’s very good to know! So if that’s for leisurely walking, then if we step up the pace a bit, it’s even more. Good to know, yes.
I prefer treadmill in the morning and that goes the same for “real” walking… like before the heat of the day starts.
Katharina, I’ve discovered lately that working after dinner is not only relaxing, but gives your body a chance to start burning the food you just ate before you sleep.
Katharina, there are also a lot of places on the web where you can download some really good workout videos.
I’ve just recently become a member of totalvid.com and it’s absolutely fantastic. I’m currently on a belly dancing workout every Saturdays on my living room.
Katharina, walking totally beats in ultimate fitness than some of those 30-minute cardio hype out there. You just have to do it longer to get the same amount of calories burned, but still, it’s better all around.
