I guess they really are two different procedures. From what I hear, they can't do it at the same time and it takes time to see the full effect of the surgery. I've also heard that surgeons will not touch your excess skin until you have reached your desired weight loss.... then it will be a second procedure to remove the excess skin. debrajean, wow…. Unfortunately, she was never able to afford this part of the process (to remove the excess skin). Seems unbelievable that this is only a half-cocked surgery.
